Power and Control Tactics

Both trans abusers and their abusive partners can use not only any type of power and control tactic, but trans-specific ones, as well. This fact sheet gives examples of tactics that can be used against or by trans and non-binary people in the areas of safety, outing, and disclosure; community attitudes; gender stereotypes and transphobia; using or undermining identity; violating boundaries; and restricting access.
