Laura Jane Grace is the founder and lead singer of Against Me, a punk rock band. She has had a successful career before and after publicly coming out as trans in 2012. Her work is influenced by the anarcho-punk and activist punk rock movements, which hold core feminist values that include anti-hate stances against racism, homophobia, trans phobia, and body freedom.
In addition to being a fantastic musician, she is a parent, a vegan, and an activist.
