A Guide for Facilitators of Transgender Community Groups: Supporting Sexual Violence Survivors is designed to help group facilitators recognize and appropriately address the types of behaviors and concerns trans and non-binary survivors may bring to support groups. Contents include: trauma and its aftermaths; what we know about trans and non-binary survivors of sexual violence; options for healing; meeting planning and preparation; and meeting skills and strategies. Includes appendices addressing safety planning, rights to obtain services, and an emergency standard operating procedures planning tool to use with people who can use more support in coping with emotional crises.
