Patience, Presence, and Practice: Scenarios and skills for serving trans survivors
Introductory
Service Providers Advocates, mental health providers, and victim service providers all use patience, presence, and practice when working with survivors. In this scenario-based webinar, trainers will explore common experiences that trans/nonbinary survivors have and how advocates can respond in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and empowerment-based ways. Participants will examine the impact of trauma, culture, and institutional responses on survivors.
