Patience, Presence, and Practice: Scenarios and skills for serving trans survivors

Advocates, mental health providers, and victim service providers all use patience, presence, and practice when working with survivors. In this scenario-based webinar, trainers will explore common experiences that trans/nonbinary survivors have and how advocates can respond in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and empowerment-based ways. Participants will examine the impact of trauma, culture, and institutional responses on survivors.
