Grief, Love, and Liberation: Honoring the winding path
Join us for a 2-hour workshop that explores the unexpected twists and turns of grief, love, and liberation. We’ll visit the traditional landscape of losses, both known and unknown, then move beyond to uncover how grief weaves through our lives – from the anticipation of coming out to the bittersweet feeling of moving to a new home.

As we navigate this path together, we’ll challenge the notion that grief is always about ending. Through storytelling, music, and guided practices, we’ll find how it can lead to change, return us to love, and reveal a path to liberation. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, sad, or simply navigating life’s transitions, this workshop offers new views of your experiences.
Facilitator Matthew Armstead brings a blend of respect, calm, and playfulness, allowing space for both somber reflection and energizing discovery. You’ll learn practices that connect us across diverse experiences.
This workshop is designed for live participation, and you can also join the recorded session on YouTube later – because we understand that everyone moves at their own pace.
By the end of our time together, you’ll have new ways to honor your experiences, skills to be with others on this path, and a renewed sense of connection to your inner compass and fellow travelers in your community.
Join us on the winding road to discover how our seemingly unrelated roads can bring us closer together.
