Hate Violence
In a recent study, FORGE found that 95% of respondents had experienced at least one form of hate violence. Trans/nonbinary communities are impacted daily by online harassment, in-person violence, state-sanctioned hate, and anti-trans cultural attacks. This hate has deep impacts on our communities.
Everyone has a role they can play in ending hate violence: from understanding the impact of anti-trans hate, to creating trauma-informed services for survivors, to working to change culture to create safer spaces. On this page you’ll find tipsheets, recorded webinars, and other information for anyone engaged in addressing anti-trans hate violence.

Trans/nonbinary experiences of hate – Study
FORGE conducted a study with 1,075 respondents on trans/nonbinary people’s experiences of hate violence and coping. We are currently working to process the data and will be sharing results as we have them. Our immense gratitude goes out to everyone who participated in this project for taking the time and energy to share their experiences.
