Introductory
Service Providers
Each year, communities across the world gather on November 20th to honor and remember transgender individuals and SOFFAs (Significant Others, Friends, Family, and Allies) who have been killed by anti-transgender violence. This webinar explores the history and significance of the Transgender Day of Remembrance and discusses ways in which crime victim service professionals can provide support and outreach to the transgender community during Transgender Day of Remembrance events, as well as throughout the year when violence against transgender people or communities becomes deadly.
