St. John’s Well Child and Family Center welcomes all patients regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, and/or presentation. We provide comprehensive transgender health services in a safe and welcoming environment where you are free to be yourself.

Slebodnik, Shari

Shari is experienced with Individual and Relationship Counseling for those in an Alternative Relationship or who identify within the LGBTQIA communities, Sexual Dysfunction (ED, etc.), Anxiety Disorders (OCD, anxiety, etc.), Mood Disorders (Bipolar, etc.), Adolescent Counseling, and Career/Life-Coaching. Her professional expertise has been primarily grounded within the issues relating to Transgender Care, Sexual Orientation, and Alternative lifestyles (polyamory, fetishism, etc.). She has originated, and facilitated, an open Support Group for the past 6 years, which is dedicated to the support and advocacy of Gender-Variant Individuals.

Kaleidoscope Youth Center

Kaleidoscope Youth Center is open to middle school and high school aged youth as well as young adults through age 20, who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT), are questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity, identify as queer, or are straight allies.

The FemSpec

The Family Room

A discussion and resource group for family and partners of folks who identify as Transgender. Trans-identified folks who are partners of another trans-identified person who are seeking support are very welcome here.

Growing American Youth

Growing American Youth is a social support organization for youth who live near St. Louis and who are 21 and under and may identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, asexual or questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity. Growing American Youth has been serving St. Louis area youth for more than 30 years.

St. Louis Gender Youth Group

If you are youth (13-24) and are self-identified as transgender or gender-variant or you wonder if you might be, say so in your request to join and you will be welcomed. Anyone who is a current adult advisor is also welcome. This group has advisors who are diverse in terms of race, class, and gender identity. We strive to make the group diverse.

PRIDE Institute strengthens resiliency and enhances the wellness of LGBT people through treatment programs grounded in the traditions of recovery while incorporating current evidence-based practices.
PRIDE Institute now features a 42 bed residential program and Intensive Adult Outpatient Services for adults. In addition PRIDE offers the only program of its kind for working with LGBT people with sexual health concerns including sexual compulsivity and sexual anorexia.

Whitman-Walker Health is a community health center in Washington, DC, that specializes in health care for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities and those living with HIV/AIDS.
This group is for individuals across the gender spectrum and in any stage of transitioning. The focus of the group is to promote social support and wellbeing for transgender, gender non-conforming, or gender queer adults. Topics may include (but are not limited to) navigating transition, coming out, family and workplace issues, relationships, dating, etc. Registration is required.

Callen-Lorde Community Health Center provides sensitive, quality health care and related services targeted to New York’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities — in all their diversity — regardless of ability to pay. Reno Transgender Support Group

This group offers a safe and supportive place for individuals with gender identity issues. It is open to both MtF and FtM transgender individuals who have already transitioned or are looking to do so. Knox Boyz of East Tennessee

Our group officially became active in Knoxville on July 18, 1998 to serve the needs of FTMs in East Tennessee and surrounding areas. We also provide education and support to SOFFAs (Significant Others, Friends, Family, and Allies). There are FTM-only meetings regularly every month. For information email or call.

Knox Girlz of East Tennessee

We are a in-person support group for Transitioning Women, more commonly known as Male-to-Female Transsexuals (Transgender). Our intent is to come together for social support, joined learning, and community education. Support topics will range over all interests to develop successful lives, whether it be HRT, dressing, medical procedures, dealing with family and employees, or just basic socializing.

Our goal is to provide the transgender person and their family members with the information, care, and resources needed to make transition as comfortable and convenient as possible.

TS support group and professional services. Information distribution center for the southeast region. Monthly meetings, free professional referrals, speakers, training seminars, hotline, and an annual TS convention. Screening required of clients.
