Second Life is an online virtual world in which a highly diverse global population can interact in real time from almost any computer with a solid internet connection.

At the August 25, 2012 Milwaukee social support/informational group meeting, guest presenter Raine shared an audiovisual tour of Second Life.  She highlighted how to create an avatar and get started within the Second Life world, as well as led attendees to many places in Second Life.  Attendees could see how easy it is to connect directly with others in Second Life and experience the social and informational nature of this virtual world.

Raine compiled a list that will help guide new Second Life users to some starting places and useful resources.
